Meditation

Meditation is a valuable tool for the addict. Quieting your mind and comfortably being with feelings in meditation leads to a much deeper, more organic, personal understanding of those feelings — especially those sitting at the root of addiction.

Meditation offers an alternative to running away and to self-medicating. Meditation urges us to know the nature and meaning of our feelings as opposed to simply medicating them.

Meditation allows us to change our habitual ways of thinking, provides critically important insight into the nature of our thoughts and allows us to change the way we view our challenges and choices. This change is what helps us find and stay with our new Life Circle .
